Meet and greet ... Millie and Whims!
Millie
I have lived on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia for the past 20 years.
We have 4 children and I love being a mum, cooking, reading, gardening and caring for and spending time with my 'gerls' (chickens).
I enjoy trying to live as self sufficiently as possible with my vegie patch, gerls and solar panels.
Last year saw one of my family's life dreams come to fruition, with the building and completion of our 'dream' home.

Whimsical
I'm a bit of a homebody and a self confessed Geek!
Originally from Australia, I moved to Long Island NY, mid 2008 with my daughter, to marry
my best friend and sweetheart of 5yrs.
I'd like to take a moment to thank Allan Lolly and his wonderful team at Allan Lolly & Assoc APC for all their assistance with both Chris's Fiance Visa Petition and my Fiance Visa Application. The whole process was completed much more quickly than we ever hoped or imagined and knowing that our paperwork was all in order and filed correctly was a huge weight off our minds. Thank you!
In my 'spare' time I like playing with 3d digital art, digital scrapbooking and I have an interest in ppc marketing and web analytics.
Life at our house is generally a bit of a roller coaster. Hubby has his own business and works from home. Daughter has ADHD and mild Asperger's Syndrome which usually keeps us both busy and on our toes.

The Inspiration Behind Serendipity's Design ...
I love playing with and creating digital art. The Serendipity Cafe background and header image were created in Photoshop Elements from a mix of my own 3d Poser 7 renders and licensed digital resources by Lucie Grenier, Susan McKivergan and Dana Sitarzewski.
I remember my nan's garden as always having ladybugs. A wonderful variety of reds, oranges and yellows. I was always fascinated and drawn by their bright colours and the ever changing array of black patterns and dots. Unique, with no two ever alike.
Nan often told me that if a butterfly (flutterbys, as I usually refer to them) or a ladybug were to alight on you, it was a sign of 'blessings' and that good things would soon be sure to follow. Even now at 42yrs of age, I still carry this belief with me.
